Al Nassr secure a tough win over Al Orubah

In a match that saw over 10k turnout at King Fahad International stadium in Al Riyadh, Al Nassr maintained the Saudi Pro League top spot after they came from behind to achieve a 2-1 win over their guests Al Orubah within the 19th round of the league.

Al Orubah have started to score through the Jordan International Abdullah Dheeb who took advantage of Papande’s assist and scored at the 8th minute.

The goal inflamed Al Nassr who started their efforts to level but the first half saw no more goals.

But in the second half, Al Nassr equalized thanks to Elton Rodriquez’s header at minute 51.

After 7 minutes, the Brazilian secured his side the lead as he scored again in the guests’ goal after receiving a cross-pass from Hassan Al Raheb.

The match ended 2-1, leaving Al Orubah in the 12th place with 19 points in their tally, while leaders Al Nassr raised their tally to 51 points.
