The varsity boys' soccer team welcomed an invitation to be a part of Hill School's Mid-Atlantic Soccer Jamboree when it was sent to Coach Bridges.
Twenty two schools from the northeast region accepted invitations to play in front of over forty college coaches who attended the event. Pennington played the host school Hill and pulled off a solid 4-1 victory.
Goals were scored by Ibrahima Diop (2 goals), Pedro Dolabella, and Eric Broadway while assists went to Dolabella (2 assists) and Jared Panson. Pennington's defense was up to Hill's challenging attack and goalkeeper Max Pinado made several good saves.
The Red Raiders will take on Hun School on Tuesday afternoon at the Tom Liwosz Turf field in yet another key prep school match.
